MAX TMS and TDI

Hi,

Per "MAX 10 Schematic Review Worksheet 1.0" page 19, TMS and TDI should be puled-up to 2.5V for 3.3V JAG operation. Is it a typo? Can I pull them to 3.3V instead?

Thanks,

Noam

I've not used the MAX10, but the same recommendation (2.5V pullup) exists for the Cyclone series. I think you can pull up to 3.3V, but watch out for overshoot which can destroy devices. I've seen some diode clamp recommendations to avoid this. Pulling up to 2.5V minimizes the potential for overshoot.
