Programming file compatibility across Speed Grades

Our design currently uses the 5CEBA2F17C8N.  Can I use the same RBF file in an 5CEBA2F17I7N (faster speed grade) or do I need to recompile and deploy both as required?  Thanks.

Hi, programming file are speed grade independent. Meaning to say, you can programming the programming file into same device part number with different speed grade.

However, it is recommended to do recompilation with the correct device part number as there might be timing issue.
