Hello english speaking people ;-),
On my labtop (DELL inspiron), if I don't work for a long moment, it will "sleep" and after "hibernate" : normal. I left USB Blaster plugged. When i try to wake up my labtop : Power Led is on, the display remains off. I must press power button for 4 seconds to power it off with a risk of dataloss. But, if USB Blaster is unplugged, no problem. I simply report this problem. Did you face this problem ? Is there a work around ? ++ ps : winxp sp2 32bits , quartus 6.0 to 8.0sp1 with some patches (tristate components) usb blaster revision c from altera.labtop dell insiron dual core with 'factory' config set for sleep/hibernate states.

If this happens also without running the Quartus software, it's most likely a problem of the Dell BIOS in combination with FTDI USB driver, not related to Altera tools. If the problem occurs only with active Altera software, it may be related to the tools.
