USB Blaster - seleting driver - starts to install and encounters error. Altera USB-Blaster. The hash for the file is not present in the specified cataloge file. The file is likely corrupt or the victim of tampering. Contact manufacturer.

You will have to disable driver singing to be able to install the drivers.

Hello, we are using version 10.1sp1_quartus_free_windows.exe for our educational program with the DE0 board. I too have the same issue of "The hash for the file is not present...." Is there an easier way around this because my computer does not seem to allow me to turn off secure boot as it is greyed out. And that is just one brand of computer so how can we support our Students who have various types of computers?

Is there a newer version of USB-Blaster that does have a hash and will work with 10.1?
