want to carry out amplitude modulation

Hello,

I have implemented NCO core megafunction and am getting a sine wave(I use a cyclone 3 fpga with a dac board). I am now interested in carrying out certain amplitude modulation with different envelopes like gaussian, sinc etc. Is there any megafunction which can help me in doing this?

I have the same question. If anyone knows the related materials showing the common modulation formats used in altera FPGA. My device is Stratix IV GT.

Altera FPGA don't use "common modulation formats" for any general purpose. Of course you can implement any kind of digital signal processing, including modulation and demodulation.

An amplitude modulator is basically a multiplier.
