S1200sps ESRT2 legacy to uefi

Intel S1200SPS Server Board: I have an ESRT2 raid array configured on a server that boots in legacy bios mode. I want to change to UEFI and keep the existing ESRT2 raid array as the primary OS boot. I went into the bios and changed the boot option to UEFI but when the server restarts, the existing ESRT2 raid array is not listed as a boot option. Please advise.

It's probably best that Intel support technicians don't even make replies like this. It just makes us discontinued product users feel like we're being told to F--- off.  

On another note, really at the mercy of the user community here, any help would be greatly appreciated.
