Hi everybody,

I have a problem with my SC5650WS chassis with S5520SC board. SELVIEW seems to freeze at loading the IPMI drivers when starting through the EFI shell. I am also unable to start SELVIEW in Windows because when installing imbdriver I receive a message that msipmi driver alredy installed and it prevents me from installing imbdriver. How can I solve this problems and launch SELVIEW?

Which version of SELVIEW are you using? Try this one: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=17933 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=17933

For Windows, what's the exact error message when you run install.cmd to install the IMBdriver? You may want to start the command prompt as Administrator first.

In this particular case, I would recommend using the newer version of this utility which is now called https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18895/Intel-System-Information-Retrieval-Utility-for-Windows- Intel System Information Retrieval Utility.

If needed, you may use other utilities such as the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24942/Intel-System-Management-Software-Intel-Active-System-Console Intel Active System Console. You may also configure the http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/intel_rmm4_ibwc_userguide_r2_72.pdf Integrated BMC Console; both of these offer the option to get the logs of the system.

You can try loading the EFI IPMI driver before starting SELVIEW

FS0:> load ipmi.efi

FS0:> selview
