I am looking to buy a workstation with a Xeon W3565 or W3570 and noticed what seems to be discrepant information on the W3565 memory frequency. In the document "Intel Xeon Processor 3500 Series Specification Update" February 26, 2010 in Component Marking Information (page 18) it states the W3565 has 1333 MHz DDR3 frequency (http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/products/server/processor/xeon3000/technical-documents http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/products/server/processor/xeon3000/technical-documents). However, at ark.intel.com the memory frequency is listed as 800/1066 MHz DDR3 (http://http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=39721&processor=W3565&spec-codes=SLBEV http://http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=39721&processor=W3565&spec-codes=SLBEV). Does anyone know the memory frequency of the W3565 released to production?

From what I know it should be 1066/800 MHz. A processor with 4.8 GT/s QPI should support 1066/800 only.
