xeon 5410 and s5000vsa motherboard assembly problem

I just purchased a xeon 5410 processor and a S5000VSA motherboard. When trying to assemble both components I found a problem trying to secure the fan assembly that comes in the 5410 box with the motherboard bracket. The screws on the fan assy do not match the bracket holes! what do I have to do to properly secure the fan assy to the mobo, besides getting some nuts somewhere else to fit the screws? The mobo box does not have any attachment components that can be used.

If the screws don't line up, you've got the wrong heatsink. Did you get the active or passive, and which chassis is it going into?
