Cannot compile x64 with evaluation license.

Hi,

I downloaded an evaluation copy of Parallel Studio XE 2015 earlier this week. It seems to be working well for Win32 applications, but then I tried to compile for x64. It's giving me some errors messages saying "could not checkout FLEXlm license," and after a short search on this site, it appears the solution is to request that you send me the relevant license file(s).

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Bonnie,

I have sent you the license file, please also make sure you also installed the x64 binary of the compiler during your initial installation. Please let me know if that works.

Thank you.

What is the meaning of "Flexlm" ? I have seen it in many programs.

FLEXlm was the old name of the license encryption technology we have used for many years. Actaully, it's called FNP (Flex Net Publisher) from FLEXERA, but many people still call it FLEXlm as they've got used to that name.

Does this help?

Regards, Hubert.

Wow thanks for the info. I first noticed flexlm when I installed autodesk maya 3d modelling software.
