Hi,
I have a Surface pro 4 i7 16gb ram. Can I use a realsense app? Microsoft said YES, but I tried to install some app (Personify and Warrior wave) and don't reconize a 3D camera or driver.
Can somebody help me?
Thanks

Look in Device Manager. I believe you'll see at least 3 cameras - 2 RGB that aren't realsense and an IR camera. See wat it is branded.

Hi, I'm facing the same problem but using the i5 processor version.
I tried to run the app "Raw Streams" and it recognized both RGB and Deph cameras, but it is only able to display a color stream. When I tried with the Camera Viewer it failed setting the depth stream.
I also get into the code, but the SDK throw a "Device unavailable" error.
sensorManager->EnableStream(PXCCaptur::STREAM_TYPE_DEPTH); .... auto status = sensorManaget->Init(); // This line returns "Device unavailable"
This is what I see in the Device Manager

I tried reinstalling the DCM again, but this time I disabled the embedded camera, and it started working. Something might went wrong the previous time.
Francesco, did you tried that?

Hi guys,
BAD NEWS...
this is the Microsoft answer:
"
Please be advised that the Intel Realsense SDK is not yet compatible with our Device Surface Pro 4. I have checked and tested it on my end.
We do apologize for the inconvenience. I sent an email to our Development Team regarding the software Realsense SDK software.
Again I am sorry to inform you that the software is not compatible with our Device yet.
Any Ideas?

Well... What does it mean not compatible yet?
I'm using it without problems since the other day.
