Hi,
According to the Direct Assign Product Brief, Supported Guest OSs are: RHEL, SUSE and Ubuntu. Yet the only drivers available are for RHEL. Where are the equivalent drivers for Ubuntu? None for SUSE either.
Am I missing something or do they not exist?
Many thanks,
Brendan

Hello, mitel.
Thank you for waiting.
Can you confirm what version of Ubuntu you are using? we are currently checking driver availability, but we need to confirm the version you need.
I will follow up on July 22nd in case we do not hear from you.

Hello, mitel.
Thank you very much for your patience.
I received confirmation from the engineering team, and there is currently no ETA we can provide, as this is still under development for other operating systems/distributions.
It would be necessary to continue monitoring the available drivers or possibly request an update on a later date, as this will not be possible right now.
If I can try to assist you with anything else, please let me know, otherwise I will proceed to close the thread on August 2nd.
Regards,
Bruce C.

Hi Bruce,
Yes, you can remove your false marketing: Direct Assign Product Brief.
Supported Guest OS: Ubuntu & SUSE is untrue and misleading for your customers.
Best regards.

It would be really helpful if you could give any kind of timeframe Bruce. If you can say eg Ubuntu driver will arrive this year, then we can plan accordingly. Thanks.

Hello, Mitel.
Thank you very much for your patience.
I confirmed that we do have the SLES drivers available and can be posted on site if needed.
Regarding Ubuntu, support was definitely planned, but some errors were encountered during the final validation/development steps, and these have made this not possible at this time, but we do continue working on this to get it resolved, still without an ETA that can be provided right now.
If we can be of assistance with anything else, just let me know, but I will set the thread to be closed on August 5th if this is not the case.
Regards,
Bruce C.

Hi Bruce,
Again, you can correct your marketing. Customers like us will make plans based on it. It isn't true.
We don't need SLES drivers, just Ubuntu. We'd appreciate if you could post an ETA when you're close to completing development, as will allow us to make sprint plans. In any case, pls update this thread when released otherwise we won't know.
Many thanks.
