SCCM install of WiFi_22.60.0_Driver64_Win10.exe drivers for Dell Latitudes

Hi!.  Looking to update the WIFI drivers on various flavors of Dell Latitudes which have the requisite chipset mentioned in the article: Download Windows® 10 Wi-Fi Drivers for Intel® Wireless Adapters

some questions:

1. do you have to remove the old wifi drivers?

2. will the install require a reboot?

3. Will the install cause a loss of connectivity since most users will be connected to the network via VPN. 

4. Can i get MSI drivers app?  

5. my test of deploying the WIFI drivers to a machine via sccm using the exe and the -q -s switches did not result in success. got a 1603 error when sent to a machine which is connected via wifi--> Juniper pulse.  Failed repeatedly run as a package.

 

Any other assistance appreciated. thanks

2. Why are you performing an SCCM install?


3. Have you checked with DELL for instruction?
