Intel NUC7i5BNH HDD max capacity

Is there a max capacity por the 2.5" HDD as only storage?

I have the Intel NUC7i5BNH with a M.2 SSD for the OS and I'd like to add a HDD, but I read in ones places that there is a limit of 1TB and in others places is of 2TB.

Maybe the limit is for bouth drives? or is only for the OS drive? or is only a recomendation? What happen if I put a higher HDD?

Also I want to know the max size: 7mm, 9.5mm or 15mm?

To answer your first question, there is no actual maximum capacity, the 2.5" drives should work just fine; nevertheless, Intel has only validated up to 2TB drives as you can see in the link below:

Thank you for patiently waiting.

I was checking and the maximum 2.5 HDD height tested and validated by Intel for this NUC is 9.5mm which means that the 7mm will fit as well.
