Basically the same issue as other have posted in this forum. such as
i am playing on the NA server of Lost Ark. just upgraded from GTX1080 to B580 ASROCK Challenger card
GTX1080 never had any freeze issues
Lost ark will freeze and not full crash, game picture still there, some examples of where it crashes,
- when entering chaos dungeon, it froze instantly
- during Aegir Raid Gate 1 in middle of the fight
I do notice FPS seems low in raid running at 1080P, it feels like it runs worse than my previous GTX1080 which is very disappointing
i also notice the same issue where monsters or players spawn in on the map, there is lag
I have resize bar on and paired with 5600x3d running 6989 driver.
already tried DDU and reinstalling GPU drivers twice
verified lost ark game files
with B580 specs, it should be easy able to maintain 120fps but its very shaky and not stable, jumps around 50-80fps which is on par/worse than GTX1080

1. BIOS is already on the latest version 5031
2. Windows is up to date
3. Tried that today and same issue
another thing i notice in task manager while seeing low FPS like 30FPS in an area that should be higher. I see in task manager the card only use 5GB VRAM, seems like it is stuck at 5GB? is that normal?

Hello fpspls,
I appreciate you for trying the recommendations that I shared. VRAM usage can vary depending on the game or application, resolution, texture quality, and other graphical settings.
Since the issue persists, we'll need to investigate this matter further. I'll get back in touch as soon as an update is available.
Best regards

- no i did not try the latest graphics driver, ive already switched to another GPU due to this unresolved issue for many others, it has been happening for months with no resolution

- I already stated in my original post what i have tried and you also asked duplicate questions that are already answered. it doesnt seem like this is getting anywhere like all the other threads of people posting the same problem
